(Ph.D., 59 credits; M.S., 35 credits)
The program of study is
divided into two phases. The first phase includes
completion of the core courses and the development
and defense of the dissertation/thesis proposal.
The second phase of study includes completion
of the dissertation/thesis research. A broad spectrum
of possible research topics is available under
the mentorship of faculty from all professional
disciplines represented in the Rangos School of
Health Sciences. A formal dissertation/thesis
is written and defended during the second phase
of study. Students are encouraged to learn the process of publishing their research by submitting at least one manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal. |
