Professional Narrative:
During my time as a physical therapist, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, and with a variety of patient populations. I have worked in nearly all phases of healthcare including the intensive care unit, cardiac care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and skilled nursing. As a result, I have the opportunity to work with patients with burns, wounds, pulmonary and cardiac problems, neurological and orthopedic problems. My current focus is in working with older adults, and I am concentrating my research in this area.
