Professional Narrative:
Dr. Havrilla is the primary course instructor for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Science (PHYTH 605), Clinical Education III (PHYTH 611) and Clinical Education IV (PHYTH 612). He has held faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Chatham University . He was the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education at Chatham University and Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy. He was the Senior Manager of Rehabilitation Services at UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health, Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Pittsburgh as well as Field Instructor and adjunct faculty in the Physical Therapy Program, Credentialed Clinical Instructor, Credentialed Trainer for the APTA Clinical Instructor Program. In addition, he was the Director of Rehabilitation at the VNA HealthCare Services, Chief of Physical Therapy at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center , Pittsburgh , PA. Dr. Havrilla received his B.S. of Physical Therapy, Certificate of Physical Therapy, and M.S. in Health Related Professions (orthopedic track) from the University of Pittsburgh . He received his doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University .
