Professioanl Narrative:
Gregory H. Frazer, Ph.D. is Dean and Professor of the John G. Rangos, Sr. School of Health Sciences at Duquesne University, the academic home to 800 students and 49 full-time faculty.  Dr. Frazer is administratively responsible for programs in Athletic Training, Health Management Systems, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology.  Prior to his current assignment, he served as Dean of the Victor F. Spathelf College of Allied Health Sciences at Ferris State University. Dr. Frazer has also held faculty and administrative positions at the University of Central Florida, Old Dominion University, Indiana State University, and Eastern Virginia Medical School.  Dr. Frazer has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in health law, health care management, health program planning, health policy analysis, and research design and evaluation.  Dr. Frazer received his Ph.D. in health education and administration from Southern Illinois University and is a national speaker and published numerous articles and refereed abstracts in the areas of occupational stress and quality of life. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP), for the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), and the EMS Educators Credentialing Service. Dr. Frazer also serves as a member of the Task Force for the National Association of EMS Educators, on the National Health Professions Preparedness Consortium, on the Jewish Healthcare Foundation/Coro Pittsburgh Health Sciences Fellowship Advisory Board, on the Board of Directors for Life'sWork, Inc., and is the Treasurer of the Council of Health Deans, a national special interest group of all deans with health professions programs. He served for six years on the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), holding the position of Chair of the Physical Therapy Panel the last three years and has been a national and international specialized accreditation site-visitor.  Dr. Frazer was one of eight individuals selected nationally to participate in the inaugural Coalition for Allied Health Leadership Program in Washington, D.C. and was one of 20 participants in the National Healthcare Leadership Institute in Washington, DC sponsored by the Federation of Associations of Schools of Health Professions and the Gallop Organization.  He serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Allied Health, American Journal of Health Behavior, International Journal of Interpersonal Care , and The Health Educator: Journal of Eta Sigma Gamma , and has served as a strategic planning and marketing consultant to for-profit and not-for-profit health care facilities and universities.
